The Statutory Supervisor Course is designed to equip supervisors and team leaders in the Western Australian mining industry with the essential Work Health and Safety (WHS) knowledge required under the Work Health and Safety (Mines) Regulations 2022. This course ensures that supervisors meet the statutory competency requirements, enabling them to effectively implement safety policies, manage risks, and fulfill their legal obligations.

Course Structure 

The Statutory Supervisor Course includes two core nationally recognised units: 

  • BSBWHS411 – Implement and monitor WHS policies, procedures, and programs 

  • BSBWHS414 – Contribute to WHS risk management 

These units provide participants with the skills to assess workplace hazards, implement WHS controls, and effectively communicate safety policies within their organisation. 

Delivery Mode 

This course is delivered as a face-to-face workshop at our Sydney Office. 

Assessment & Certification 

Upon successful completion, participants receive a Statement of Attainment for the required units, meeting statutory competency requirements for supervisors under WA’s mining regulations.
